I attempted to post a nomination for the DUmmie FUnnies in the Humor Blog category but noting posted. What happened? Do I need to put on a tinfoil hat?
Comments that aren't authenticated are moderated, per the instructions. All those are now posted.

Hi Kevin,
I submitted my site twice my accident because of a "posting failed" error on the first one.
Site: Atomische
Category: Photoblogs
Sorry!

Kevin,
I'd like to add another category...
Best Christian Activist blog :)
Are there any rules as to preventing vote rigging?
For example, one of the nominees in the health and medical categorie, bacteriality.org, is being publicised across three different messageboards with exhoartations for their members to vote for it. All these sites included the nominated blog promote a highly controversial non-FDA approved medical treatment.
Is this permitted as your web awards could be seen as your awards being vulneralbe to manipulation by pressure groups.
Please clarify, thanks.
Right now we are only accepting nominations. In each category there will be more sites nominated than selected as finalists. As is stated in the rules the number of times a site is nominated is irrelavant, so to is any off-site campaigning - we don't look at any site besides this one and the nominated site.
There are no restrictions on campaigning, except that we will not allow the comment section in the nomination posts to be used as a discussion thread or anything other than a collection of nominations.
We've been at this for 6 years and we're pretty good at avoiding manipulation.
Thanks. That is reassuring.
Hi,
Can you post a link to your rules please?
Am I correct in thinking that all nominated sites are selected by your volunteers?
What happens then? Does a nominated site then have to display your logo, and only wins if enough people click on the logo from their site?
Hmm, I guess not then. You mention the rules, but are not so keen to hand them out?
I have a feeling this is a one man operation.
What is the chance of re-opening the Law Blog category for *just one more*? We're nominated in the Education category, which does fit...
