This blog is facinating! An 85-year-old lady writes about her life in rural Georgia -- she is lively and recalls so many wonderful traditions and little-known, everyday aspects of rich and full living while in poverty in a mill town. It is an important reminder that it is not the lack of money or material goods that is "poverty," rather it is the lack of love, family and community. Sadly, life today falls short in many ways. BTW, that 85 year old lady is a minister and her worthwhile daily activities put most of us to shame!
